New LDSTools on iPhone extremely slow

When using the prior version of LDS Tools, all the information popped up pretty quickly. However, now the new version of LDS Tools takes a long time to load when opening the application. It also takes a long time to bring up information.

Upgrading to version 2.0.1 should fix this issue. Let me know if it persists after upgrading.

I came here to say this only to find this is 12 years old.

In any case, loading stake-level information (my calling is in the stake) makes the ios app nearly unusable. Tapping to load the directory from the stake level takes nearly a minute to refresh.

This seems to coincide with contact pages featuring a new style last fall to look more like ios contacts.

Is this data loading from my local phone? It’s hard enough to use I often use the web app on the desktop anymore

Wondering if this was ever addressed. I'm having a similar issue, but only with my iPad Gen 8 and iPad Air 2024, not with my iPhone. I actually just purchased the iPad Air thinking the problem was my several years old iPad Gen 8, but the brand new iPad Air is behaving the same way. My iPhone 14 does not have any problems with Tools, other than "tips" on how to use the new version of the app keep popping up, and I don't need/want the tips anymore. The same thing happens on my iPad, when it gets around to working.
