Version 1.1 of the Newsletter has now been released. This release fixes the following issues:
- added a category dropdown for mobile devices to reduce 'clutter' - https://tech.lds.org/forum/showthread.p ... le-Devices
- fixed slowness when switching between stake and ward
- added filetype support for .odt, .fodt, .ods, .fods, .odp, .fodp, .pptx, .ppt - https://tech.lds.org/forum/showthread.p ... ttachments
- add delete publisher message - https://tech.lds.org/forum/showthread.p ... misleading
- fixed sign out link - https://tech.lds.org/forum/showthread.p ... nout-error
- fixed attachments in IE - https://tech.lds.org/forum/showthread.p ... t-Explorer
Future releases will address these issues:
- Provide category dropdown on create/edit article page
- Don't use edit date to determine sequence of articles
- enhance and clarify featured article functionality
- provide default publishers
- make colors more vivid

Official Release
The Newsletter application is now available on the Tools menu on LDS.org.
Now that Newsletter is no longer in beta, discussions regarding the released version should be posted in the new forum section called Newsletter.
