No. We don't know when it will be fixed. We might get word when a fix is expected in the next week or less. But we rarely get advanced notice of fixes.

Is there someone we could call and have them add a building scheduler while this is being fixed? I tried MLS support, but they referred me back to here.

Not that I know of. But unless you need to cancel a reservation you can get by without one.

That is one of the behaviors reported.

Still Down

Post by TrevorClifton »

I need to change out our schedulers and it is a critical time to have the right names as calendars are being completed for 2013. Is there a time estimate on a fix? Is there a workaround were I can get a change made by some other means? Haven't seen an update in 2 weeks time. Please help.

As been stated there is currently no estimated time for the fix.

The workaround is to not worry about reservations and just schedule the events, you don't need a building scheduler to do that.

Maybe.... Just maybe... the whole idea behind this conspiracy is to just do away with the reservation calendar all together. Just schedule a recurring event for say every Tuesday for Ward "A's" mutual night and let them work out what rooms they want to be in.... shhhhhhh......

We could only hope all I've seen it do is cause confusion and scheduling problems.

I agree that works with one small problem though, in order to get the time scheduled in the appropriate building one must also select a room/resource. This is why I'm pushing all the youth groups to schedule their mutual night activity in the class normally assigned to them, if the room changes for a night then they can make adjustments for that one night.

But I'll keep it hush hush.

No.... you select "Ward A: Mutual: entire location 6 to 10...." The rest can be sorted out in Ward Council.

Then each class selects "no location" and their activity still appears on the calendar.
