I'm sorry you've been having difficulty accessing donations. You probably want to consider giving feedback using the option at the bottom of the Church website, as that will reach the developers easier. My one solution to your problem would be to just type in the address bar "tithing.lds.org" whenever you want to pay tithing, and it should redirect to the right place.

The location of the Donations page has not moved in several years. Are you referring to the change in the Home page at the main website?

The quickest way to get to Donations from the Home page is to click on the nine-dot menu at the top right and select Donations. An even faster way is to bookmark the donations page and go directly there, as I do.
