Sorry about brushing you off, just that I had more than 10 points so I thought the system was working, but now I know that it was a special case as described above.

Another question, I see I got 4 "hits" on this thread - I assume that's someone testing things out. One of the 4 has a green square next to it. (It's not the same as the other squares). What's the significance of the square's color?

My bad....point 5 should say "posts" not Points". So you have to have at least 50 posts before you can affect someone's reputation. That that make sense?

No, but everyone that has added to my rep I guess was under 50 posts.

THe reason why you have 10 points is because everyone that has "added to your reputation" have had less than 50 posts, so they do not affect the number of points you have.

A green square means that you got a positive addition, while a grey square is a nothing could be added since they have not posted more than 50 times. A red square means that you got deducted.
