When the site first comes up I click on the Login link and enter the information. The authentication screen refreshes and the upper right-hand corner of the screen shows that I'm Logged in. However, when I click on either Calendar or Directory, I'm given another Login screen. After I Login AGAIN, the directory/calendar work as expected.
It looks like the main page at beta.lds.org has switched over to the new SSO implementation while the Directory/Calendar are still on the old one. If you go directly to the Directory/Calendar instead of logging in first then you will only have the one login.

Thanks for the tip. That eliminated the 2nd Login. I'm still a little puzzled as to why some folks are having problems and others are not. If the problem was related, as you say, to an authentication issue, wouldn't it effect everyone?

I'm not sure what the bug is
jdcr256 is the one that posted about it.
But I would guess that something that is being returned by the old SSO solution isn't working for some people or certain callings. That is what is making it break for some people and not others.

I just tried the directory. It's working for me now. It didn't before.

Wow, it works now for me, too! As does creating new calendars. Woohoo!

I can now access the directory as well! However, when I upload photos, the process completes but the result is just a blank picture. This happens in both Firefox and Chrome. I also uploaded a family picture from my wife's account, but when I went to approve it in my account, I was just approving a blank picture (which I didn't do).
I just discovered the beta yesterday, so I have not had any successful picture uploads as of yet. Any suggestions?

This is a recent problem, but I can confirm that it works as you say right now. My guess is that the issue is simply in the display of the pictures, but that the upload is working. So you're wise not to approve an apparently blank picture -- you would probably be approving a picture you can't see now, but that will appear later when this current problem is fixed.
I know that a week or so ago the picture uploads and management features were working fine, so I imagine it will be working again soon. In any case, I have reported the issue using the Feedback mechanism.

Sorry Zane, it looks like it's working now for me as well. Try the usual - clearing caches, etc.

Thanks Alan. I'm seeing that pictures I uploaded in the past are not showing as well, with only a link stating "Photo" in its place. I'd bet its still residual from the authentication problems.
