Just as a follow up, our primary secretary was able to get access after resolving an issue with her login.

We have encountered the same problem with the Primary Secretary apparently not having access to the Class and Quorum Attendance function in LCR or in the App. If I am understanding the response given to this issue, there seems to be an issue with the Secretary's account that would need to be updated. Can anyone elaborate on how to insure that the Secretary's account is correct?

Make sure the MRN on the account matches the MRN of the person holding that position. (Members will sometimes use a spouse's account, or they used the MRN on their temple recommend which was swapped with someone else's.)douglasn1 wrote:Can anyone elaborate on how to insure that the Secretary's account is correct?
Also verify that the calling is recorded as a standard position and not a custom position with the same name. Custom positions never grant rights.

Common issues with access to LCR arise when:douglasn1 wrote:Can anyone elaborate on how to insure that the Secretary's account is correct?
- A member shares a Church Account with their spouse or has their spouse MRN recorded in their account profile. Each Church Account can have only one membership record number (MRN) registered in the user profile and permissions granted to the Church Account are dependent on that MRN.
To verify the account is correct: Open the account (account.churchofjesuschrist.org) and look in the Profile > Membership section to see what MRN is displayed. - The member's Church Account does not have a MRN registered in the user profile. A quick method to see if the account is a member account is to log onto ChurchofJesusChrist.org and try to access either the Ward Directory and Map or Calendar. If unable to access either of those programs most likely means the account does not have the member's MRN registered in the user profile, or the incorrect MRN is recorded.
- The calling recorded for the member is not the standard calling. While a custom calling can be spelled exactly the same as the standard calling it will not have any access permissions. Custom callings will be identified with an "*" before it when viewing callings in LCR. Callings viewed in Member Tools and the Ward Directory and Map do not differentiate between standard and custom.

Re: Class and Quorum Attendance LCR - Who has rights?
Just had a conversation about this with our primary where they would like to go paperless and have primary teachers record their rolls online in LCR or Member Tools. As it stands now primary teachers can't even see who is in their class unless it's printed off by someone with LCR access much less record their rolls. I would submit for limited access to teachers to see their rolls and record attendance.

Please remember that this is just a user-to-user discussion forum. Any official requests for changes in tool capabilities will need to go through official channels: 1) the Feedback link or button; 2) unit leadership and up the chain of command.jake.buhler wrote: Sun Sep 05, 2021 3:33 pm ...
