I think you meant a direct connection to the Meraki switch set to AP and no other switches between.russellhltn wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 12:17 pm I would check to make sure it's connected properly. It needs to have a direct connection to the Meraki firewall (no switches) and the firewall's port set to "AP".

Re: LDSAccess WiFi
Oops, you are correct. Only the first Meraki switch goes to the firewall.
Any downstream Meraki switches need to be connected to that first switch. That port on the first switch needs to be set to "Link".
And the switch connected to the Meraki firewall needs to be plugged into the first port of the firewall.
In other words, there has to be an unbroken link of Meraki equipment using Meraki protocol between the AP and the internet.

Re: LDSAccess WiFi
Not sure if this might be the correct location to post this so here I go:
My new calling is : Ward Technology Specialist yet I can't seem to get a clear answer from the bishopric as to how I can have access to the technology Manager's website portal.
https://tm.churchofjesuschrist.org/#/home/dashboard/
fyi: the previous ward tech specialist end up moving to Utah so there is really no one else I can ask, nor do I think he even knew about the technology Manager's website porta.
If anyone can point me to the right direction please.

Re: LDSAccess WiFi
The last time I checked with a recently called WTS, they didn’t have access to TM. I think the prime reason for the WTS, is to assist members with their access and use of the technology supplied by the Church.isin1776 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 11:57 pm Not sure if this might be the correct location to post this so here I go:

Re: LDSAccess WiFi
Start by having your ward clerk change your calling to the standard calling. With a custom calling like you have you'll never be able to get access to any systems.

Re: LDSAccess WiFi
Technology Specialist is the official name and for yours you want it recorded at the ward level. LCR clearly lists which positions are standard.

Re: LDSAccess WiFi
A standard calling is when the clerk selects from a list. A custom calling is when the clerk types the name of the calling into a free-form field.
The clerk should know the difference between the two.
