Did you purchase a Xerox Wireless Network Adapter (497K16750) for your B405 copier? Look on the back of the copier to see if one is installed.
In my case, I bought the adapter, and it worked for a couple weeks, but it no longer works, and I don't know why.

I opened a FIR to run Ethernet to the library copier, but the FM Office Assistant disapproved my request. Oh well.johnshaw wrote:Or just get Ethernet run to the library shift the money to FM budget.
Hey! I noticed this morning that the Xerox wireless adapter is working again! I guess things fix themselves when you take a week out of town for vacation.

Is your satellite rack in the library? You may already be 90% there.

Xerox publicly provides all of their setup manuals online. It is not a secret that the administrator password on all Xerox printers and copiers is 1111 or 11111. The first thing any administrator should do is put a complex password in its place.russellhltn wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 12:09 pmIf it's not the default listed in the user manual, no one here would know it (or post it in a public forum if they did).jdvarnon wrote:what is the copier admin password, my wireless is disabled.

I've never seen that issue. You will need to provide more details as to which device and OS you are using, and how you are trying to connect to the printer.

I'd check settings on the printer. It might be a security feature to keep others from printing to it.

If you're on the Liahona network, you have a daily challenge - unless you add the device to a list of acceptable devices in CNM.
