Is this number just those that share names with the temple via Family Search or does it also include those that print and do the ordinances themselves?

It includes both.

I still think this number would be much more useful if it came with a list of who it included.

Does it only count the individual who does the printing? If my wife is the one who prints, then is she the one who is counted? So should each member be trained to print their own names?
