For my seven missionaries, I never did rely on Church apps for the address where they were serving, which was rarely the actual mission home. The mission usually provided that information, and if they were a bit slow, my ward clerk was always willing to provide it.

For your awareness, the Tech Forum is not connected to the official Church Support team, and it seems the Church has decided to not make mission office addresses publicly available. The Forum primarily serves as user-to-user self help and discussion, and most of us are regular church members like yourself. A couple of ideas mentioned previously in this thread include asking a missionary themselves to provide the mission office address. Or perhaps asking your ward clerk if they can check their leadership (CDOL) website and see if the mission address is available there.
