When I mentioned this previously, it was brushed off as everyone canceling themselves out. Since then I've had one more entry and I'm still at 10.

Sorry about brushing you off, just that I had more than 10 points so I thought the system was working, but now I know that it was a special case as described above.

Some of them seem a little on the high side, but I don't really have a problem with that.

The thing that's puzzling me is that when I go into CP I always have 10 points. No more, no less. Maybe the wrong number is getting displayed? Is there another location I can see my current points?

Another question, I see I got 4 "hits" on this thread - I assume that's someone testing things out. One of the 4 has a green square next to it. (It's not the same as the other squares). What's the significance of the square's color?

No problem. Has your points changed since then?

  1. This is perfectly OK with me since Admins should be able to reward for exceptional work and discipline those that are being a nusense.
  2. This might be a little high for right now, I mean the longest (non-church employee) person we have had has only been here for roughly 120 days.
  3. I would say 250 since not even Tomw has 500 yet. :D (And there are a few people that have hit or are going to hit 250, maybe even 125 would be good)
  4. Once the system gets going this might be good but for right now how about 50 since no one has even that yet.
  5. Again for a group that only one person right now (Tomw) can affect reputation this might be too high. 20 might be better, then others can affect reputations instead of just tomw.
  6. What is the difference between this and 5?
My bad....point 5 should say "posts" not Points". So you have to have at least 50 posts before you can affect someone's reputation. That that make sense?

No, but everyone that has added to my rep I guess was under 50 posts.

THe reason why you have 10 points is because everyone that has "added to your reputation" have had less than 50 posts, so they do not affect the number of points you have.

A green square means that you got a positive addition, while a grey square is a nothing could be added since they have not posted more than 50 times. A red square means that you got deducted.
