Disbursement emails getting sent to old email address

Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. This forum is a space to discuss all things related to Church Accounts (registration, account recovery, user experience, vulnerabilities, etc.).

Disbursement emails getting sent to old email address

I changed my email address online and double checked with our ward clerk to make sure he sees the correct email. However, whenever I get reimbursed the disbursement emails get sent to a very old email address. How do I go about to stop that and have it start sending to my new email? My online account shows a new email.

Contact the GSD on this and good luck. It took them a year to fix a similar issue for me with survey's from the GSD coming to my old email address, and the Church store still has my old email address as a default.

Try this: Go to account.churchofjesuschrist.org, on the left, click on "Recovery and Notifications" and make sure the email in there is correct. This email is used if you need to recover the account. It's not something the clerk can see nor change. Perhaps the financial system is using that email instead of your more public contact email.

Note that updating this may change your contact email, but the reverse is not true.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
