Adjusting Start Times For Next Year:
So, if you are like us, you share a building with another ward (or two) and may alternate/change start times each year. Well, I updated our start times at about 5 PM Sunday (Reports --> Unit Settings) and have been checking periodically to see if this updated on the Unit Webpage and the "Find a Church" link on the Church website. Well, after 28 hours it hadn't updated so I got in touch with the Global Services Department and was told it may take up to 48 hours to update. I was also told to contact them again if it didn't update by Monday (January 6th).
I did put an update in the "Welcome" field on the unit webpage in bold informing people of the new start time if they do check the unit webpage.

It took just at 48 hours for the "Find a Church" times to update. It's been 4 days and the Ward Page has still not updated.

Re: Adjusting Start Times For Next Year:
The ward pages are currently having problems getting the notifications when the times change, I know they are working on figuring out where it is breaking down. We recently fixed a part of the upstream notification and that led to their discovery.

Thanks for the update! Not a big deal, hopefully if people do go to the ward page (which I don't suspect many do) , they'll notice the bold message at the bottom of the welcome portion that says we really start at a different time in 2025 than the page says.

Re: Adjusting Start Times For Next Year:
Working together with the ward web pages group I believe we found the problem and they should now be updated. And should stay updated the same as the maps (Find a Church) site. Later on this year as LCR migrates their page to update it the new way it should be within a few minutes that things get updated.
For now the changes have a delay (2-12 hours) syncing from the legacy system to the new system and then for the next couple of weeks things wait until a daily job to send notifications of these changes to other systems. Once we release our fix for that part at least the delay until the daily job will go away.

The times are updated, but in the 24 hour time format. Not that many people in the U.S. are familiar with that format.

Thanks @jonesrk for pointing me to this thread from my other discussion here: viewtopic.php?t=44826&start=20#p255883jonesrk wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 9:43 pm Working together with the ward web pages group I believe we found the problem and they should now be updated. Are you saying that when the fixes are done that both the Find a Church and Unit Websites will update within minutes? That would be great. Per my experience on the other thread, Find a Church updates weekly (not daily) on Friday evenings.
I do see that our unit website time has now updated, and it's in 24-hour format, as others have observed.

Our "Find a Church" time updated 48 hours after putting it in. I put the time in on Sunday night (December 29th) and it updated by Tuesday Night (December 31st).mevans wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 7:40 pmThanks @jonesrk for pointing me to this thread from my other discussion here: viewtopic.php?t=44826&start=20#p255883jonesrk wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 9:43 pm Working together with the ward web pages group I believe we found the problem and they should now be updated. I'm not sure if they have any caching/delays on their side. The fixes on our side will eliminate the delays that we have in the membership side of things.
