Include parents' email address in custom reports

Hello,

Stake clerk here, assisting the stake executive secretary who is seeking to send out an email on behalf of the primary to all families whose children are turning eight years old in 2025. We have the names of those children, but virtually all have no individual e-mail address. Sadly, the household e-mail address no longer exists. Is there a way to generate a report that pulls in the parents' email address(es) when I query for a custom list of children? As it stands, the only alternative seems to be using "Send a Message" to blast it out to all parents of primary children, or to go through the stake directory to hunt and peck out the email addresses for the kids, a seemingly less effective means than generating a report. I appreciate any and all insights.

One of the display fields in custom reports is head of household and spouse.

You could generate a head of household report for all the relevant youth, and then select those parents manually in the "send a message" page.
