Hi all,
In Sacred Music 2.4.0, now we can create and share playlists. Here is one with every song I could find to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ:
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/med ... GBm0d3eqR8
138 songs with audio (there are several more I found with no audio, but they aren't included in this playlist). Includes songs from General Conference, First Pres. Christmas Devotionals, Friend magazine, Tabernacle Choir concerts, and more.
Now, here's my question: As of 12/17/24 on Android, 2.4.0 was "BETA"; this morning it appears to have been released (although the "What's New" in the Play Store still has the Dec 17, 2024 date). Will someone please test the link above and let me know if it works for you? (In Apple's App Store, it appears that version 2.4.0 was released on 12/18/24: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sacred-music/id463553380). I considered leaving the beta to test it myself, but I'm afraid I won't be able to easily get beta back if I do...
Merry Christmas music!
Bro. Carroll

It works for me! I updated to v2.4.0 (Android) and the playlist opens up in the app nicely. Thanks for sharing!

Can you please sure details? My family is trying and we keep ending up at a web page with an error.

It worked for me on Android and iOS! However, on Android, I had to long-press the Sacred Music app icon, tap "App Info" (or the (i) icon), then go to "Set as default" (or "Open by default"), then in the list of URLs, add www.churchofjesuschrist.org. That allowed Sacred Music to open the playlist link. Not very intuitive, unfortunately.

I have tried everything that's been suggested so far with no positive results

On my computer, I copied the URL you shared in your first post to a Google Keep note. Then on my Android phone, I opened that note and tapped the URL. It opened right into the Sacred Music app. I did nothing else special to make it work.

Okay, thanks for letting us know. Seems that with some configurations, it just works, and for others, we're having some trouble.nmecantwin73 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 9:05 amOn my computer, I copied the URL you shared in your first post to a Google Keep note.

For me on a Samsung Tab S3 running Android 9, the same device on which I created and shared the album above, when I opened a link for a shared album, I saw a webpage with an error message; today, however, it works: the Sacred Music app opens with the playlist. So, if it wasn't working for you a few days ago, perhaps try again today.
