Within CNM, when pulling up the meetinghouse network, I’m presented with two different whitelists to add devices to: IOT and NoSplash.
Is anyone familiar with either the functional and/or management differences between adding a printer or smart TV to one whitelist vs the other??
Thanks.

Re: Whitelist
IOT means adding it to the IOT "zone". It might have some access to the internet, but it won't be on the "Public" internet.
NoSplash means that device will not be presented with the User Agreement splash screen to be able to get to the internet when using Liahona. Supposedly, if all communication is stickily local, you shouldn't have to add the printer, but I suspect the NoSplash is needed if the printer has to reach the internet for any reason.
Note NoSplash isn't needed if you're connecting the printer via the wired network.

Re: Whitelist
Okay, so if it meets the criteria of an IoT device as outlined in https://tech.churchofjesuschrist.org/wi ... nnect_SSID, those also need whitelisted in the IOT policy in CNM... but everything else that doesn't meet the IOT guidance but still can't realistically agree to the Liahona AUP should be listed in NoSplash - is that correct?
