Limit Members Ability to See Others' Contact Information?

Is there a function or solution to limit a member's ability to see others' contact information in the ward directory? Recognize individuals can do this on their own if they do not want information shared, but interested if it can be done the other way?

If you're dealing with someone abusing the information, I'd contact GSD. I'm sure they have ways of turning off access.

The only way to do this for another member that I'm aware of is to use the Tools app. If you edit a member's record, there are options to change the visibility status on the phone and email. However, the Tools app seems to have many bugs and this method doesn't seem to work very well. However, it has worked a couple times for me.

But I think the poster is wishing to keep another member from seeing information about anyone else, not just restricting their own information. I know that a bishop is able to call the GSD and, with valid reasons, have a member account blocked from accessing others.
