Can sign in to mobile phone but not with ipad

I can sign in using my smart phone but not with my iPad even using the exact same USID & pw. With the iPad I keep getting an error message saying "Oauth error2."

What site are you trying to sign in to? lds.org? ldsaccount.lds.org? familysearch.org?

Also, you mentioned that you can sign in with your smart phone. Is that some sort of iPhone? Or is an Android device? Or something else?

Make sure you don't have "incognito mode" or whatever the privacy mode is turned on.

FamilySearch.org has an option to sign in with your LDS Account. You might try that as an alternate. I'm not talking about the main username and password fields on the FamilySearch.org sign in page, but rather the separate button located below those fields that is labeled "Sign In with LDSAccount". That button will take you to the normal LDS.org sign in page, where you enter your credentials and then should be returned to FamilySearch.org once you are signed in.

Another option would be to clear your browser cache and cookies and try to sign in at FamilySearch.org again.

I can access Tools on my iphone but not on my ipad. This problem occurred recently when Tools was re-formatted and updated. Before that I had no problem. It actually lets me put in my user name and password but then the screen flickers off and on and I have to shut down the ipad. The ipad is only a few months old and I don’t have problems on any other site. Suggestions?

This is also happening for me. On my iPad it tells me my password is invalid and I cannot login to Gospel Library or Tools. I can login with the same password on both my phone and web browser.
