Facilities Representative Calling training & resources

Good morning everyone!

I was recently called to be the ward Physical Facilities Representative, but I am having trouble finding training and resources. Is there a Church webpage, manual, or other document(s) that I could study? The one resource I have found is the FIR app on my phone. So I can see what has been reported and file new reports, at least.

The "Stake Building Representatives" page in the church callings link you reference, has a good video that also describes the training that they should provide to ward building representatives. As you've found, there's not a tremendous amount of globally available info for ward building reps; but as the video in the Stake Rep page outlines, the Stake Rep should have collected pertinent info from the local FM Group and other resources, and have training available that is specifically applicable to your ward/stake.

So my suggestion is to contact the Stake Building Representative (often a High Councilor), and request training. Sometimes they'll organize something local for you, other times they may gather all the different ward reps together for a combo "new rep" / "refresher" training.
