Member Tools on IOS always returns to Home page

Does a setting exist so that Member Tools will remain on the last page accessed during a login session like Directory, Organizations, Calendar, or Ministering instead of the Home page with tiles?

On an iPad, I often use the Member Tools Directory or Ministering sections to find information and then 4-finger swipe to use it in a message or note. When I swipe back a few seconds later, Member Tools has returned to the Home page, and I have to navigate my way back. This is very inefficient and time-consuming. Earlier versions did not exhibit this behavior.
