This comment is for forum users reading this thread: Just to be clear, Mikelott1922 has their membership record in one ward and an out of unit member record in the second ward. The visibility settings for each of those records can be adjusted independently to meet the member's needs for each location.
Visibility settings can be changed in two locations. Members can change those settings in Member Tools and in their Church Account. When a member uses the online Ward Directory and Map they are taken to their Church Account, by hyperlink, to make visibility adjustments. A ward clerk currently can only use Member Tools to edit member visibility settings.mikelott1922 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2024 12:06 pm My profile selection is for full(stake) visibility. Yet, my phone, email, and address are not visible to anyone in either ward including my EQ President's which preclude communication. This is a real problem because I am excluded from invitation and involvement. Ward clerks have not been able to help. Thoughts?
I am not aware of what happens for a member with an out of unit record when they use the online Ward Directory and Map for the ward with the out of unit record to attempt to make visibility settings edits. I doubt they would have any visibility settings access there. The only method I currently see for out of unit member record visibility edit changes is in Member Tools for both the out of unit member and the clerk.
Try checking what the visibility settings are for your home ward in both Member Tools and your Church Account. The visibility settings are found in two sections of your Church Account. Contact visibility settings are in the Personal > Contact Settings section while the address visibility and map location visibility settings are in the Personal > Household section. The visibility settings should be the same in both Member Tools and your Church Account for your home ward.
Since both your home ward and out of unit ward visibility can be different, there may be a programming issue. Contact the Global Services Department using the number found in the Meeting House Support section of the Wiki article Global Services Department (GSD).
