Highlight footnotes
Previously I was able to highlight the small footnote letter in the scriptures. For example, highlighting a footnote in red that takes me to a JST. That way I will not miss important additional information. No longer can I highlight the footnote. I miss it!!

Re: Highlight footnotes
I've been using Notes for many years, and I've always found text selection to be a bit imprecise. Sometimes it has a mind of its own as to what it thinks should be selected. I don't think I've ever intentionally highlighted just the footnote, but I have noticed that at times that I could select a word without a footnote, and other times, it would automatically extend the selection to include the footnote.
If you'd like more precise marking options, I suggest using the Feedback link (when reading articles, scroll left panel all the way down to the bottom to find the link) and let the church know about your wishes. There's no guarantee they'll ever do anything about it, but that's how to get your thoughts to the decision makers. You'll likely get a standard response telling you to clear all your cookies, so I suggested clearing your cookies and using a private/incognito browsing window to verify the problem occurs after doing that. And when you submit the problem, let them know you've already cleared your cookies and the problem continues. You might still get the canned response telling you to clear your cookies, to which you'd need to reply that you've already done that.

Re: Highlight footnotes
I have also used the highlight feature to mark specific footnotes in the past and noticed during the last week or two that Library no longer allows me to do so. I miss it as well! I sent feedback but haven’t heard anything. I hope they restore the ability to highlight footnotes soon.

Re: Highlight footnotes
I just noticed a recent change that may be related. It used to be that when you copied text from the scriptures, you would get the footnotes (which I usually didn't want). Now the footnotes are not included when you copy the text. I had submitted feedback years ago asking for two options: copy with everything, including footnotes, and copy just the scripture text without footnotes. While I'd appreciate the option (as occasionally I did want the footnotes), this meets my needs better. I noticed when selection that the selection skipped inline footnotes, so they must have done something. Maybe not being able to make notes on footnotes is a side effect of this recent change.
