Once you have received your mission call, you will be able to accept your call and view your call packet information within the Missionary Portal. The mission call letter will give you instructions.

missionary portal question

I went to missionary portal and under quick links it says "Asia North Area Missionary resources". However, I am not able to open the link, it says "error 404". Is this link important? I have not received my mission call and am wondering if the link is related to it.

That error message is most likely a server load issue. Try it during the week when the server load is lighter.

- Log into the portal
- Click "About My Mission"
- Scroll to the bottom
- Click the "Download" button under where it says, "Call Letter"

We opened our call letter this morning and now cannot access it!
On the "About My Mission" page there is no place to click to see the call letter.
Where can we see our call letter?

Hi there,

If after following the instructions (mentioned in the previous post above), you still don't see the option to download your call letter, I would suggest reporting a problem to the missionary support team. To do so, you can either find the Report a problem link under the Portal menu > Help > Report a Problem. Or visit https://missionarysupport.churchofjesuschrist.org and click on Report a Problem.

It's been 9 weeks since my stake president sent my mission form to the area and I haven't received a call

There can be a variety of reasons for this. Your stake president should be able to check on the status. Maybe it's "stuck" in the computer somewhere and an inquiry will get it going again.

Your forum profile does not indicate in which country you live. If you care to share that information, it may or may not help others here to have ideas. Bear in mind the following:
  • Due to school and college schedules in the United States, this is a popular time of year to submit missionary applications. The high number of missionary applications submitted during this time can slow down things.
  • Depending on what information you have provided in your medical history, it may be reviewed by medical personnel before it gets to the apostles to assign. This is something else that can cause delays.
  • I'm less sure on how this works, but depending on where you live and where you're called, they may need to review visa requirements to make sure the call is feasible.
The month of July tends to be a vacation period for general authorities. They often times don't travel on church business during July and might return to wherever "home" is to visit family, etc. I imagine they still review mission calls, but I'd encourage you to have your stake president check on it now, just in case the system slows down in July, which is coming very soon.

Have you received your call yet? My son has had his papers submitted for almost 6 weeks and hasn’t received his call either.
