Tools 5.0 for iPhone Now Available!
Android users have had the new version for several weeks, and now iPhone users can download it. I have been using the beta version, and it took me about 30 seconds to get familiar with the new Home Screen. I like it!

As a Bishop the new screen is unwieldy. I have 42 tiles on my home page! I can move them around and change colors, but what I need is folders! Then I could start to group things and clean up the clutter on the page. . . . I'm excited about all that I can do in the app now, it should save me time, but not if I have to keep scrolling to find the thing I'm looking for.

So far I have found one item that needs a fix in the new 5.0. In Recording Ordinances, the instruction says " Use the plus button below to begin." The plus button is above....
I have reported this to Feedback.

In the article announcing 5.0, it tells of the ability to change the color and location of the icons, but also mentions changing their size. They even show a homepage with 3 icons across instead of 2. I would like to try this, but cant find any way to do it. Has anyone done this?

For the Android version, you tap the hamburger (3 lines), then tap Settings. There is a setting under "Home Screen" to change the Tile Size (Compact or Comfortable). I would expect there is a similar way to get to Settings on the iOS version.
I, too, wish I could group tiles into folders. Even by changing their positions the home screen now feels like a "Where's Waldo" search for everything.

In Android the old menu is available immediately after tapping the hamburger menu icon. It groups some of the tile menu items, but not all - especially the new ones.

I tried, but I don't see any way to switch back to the old home page with my android setup. I'm in the MemberTools beta program so that could be a factor.

Still like the new version, but there is one very annoying thing that I sent to Feedback…
Every time you login, these very “helpful” messages pop up telling you how you can change the icons. Has anyone found a way to prevent these messages?

Re: Tools 5.0 for iPhone Now Available!
I finally got the information on how to change the size of the icons on my iPhone. (Thanks Samuel.) If you click on the photo icon in the upper right corner of Tools, you will get a menu that includes the choice between Compact, with 4 icons across, or Comfortable, with 2 icons. To get this to work, I had to delete and reinstall the app. Then when I chose Compact, my names of the different apps on the Home Screen were jumbled. I resolved this by going to the phone settings and reducing the text size until it fit better on the Tools home screen. Now I have to decide if I want to live with smaller text on other areas on my phone. Also, the Compact option doesn’t hold. You have to choose it each time. I have reported this to Feedback.
