In earlier versions of Gospel Library (when most users were English speakers, and the content catalog was smaller), some basic content was bundled with the app. So if you find an older APK, it may include the English scriptures (but no guarantees at this point).

The latest update to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Gospel Library app updated without my knowledge and corrupted the data or index file so that any search returns a blank screen on my Android Chromebook. I have removed and re-installed the app to no avail. How can I download a prior working version, download a working data set, and go off line to prevent further updates?
