Usage statistics in TM?
I need a sanity check here. Technology Manager had an extremely helpful "usage statistics" feature. Now I can't find it anywhere in the TM console. Was this removed & I missed the announcement? Or was it moved somewhere where I can't find it? Or am I just going insane? Any help appreciated.

Actually, maybe it wasn't called "usage statistics". Thinking it was something else... But I know there was a place where you could see your connection history and graphs of latency & loss. That's what I'm looking for

Yeah, it does seem to have disappeared. I remember it being under the "three dot menu" at the Firewall level. But I'm not seeing it anywhere.

Re: Usage statistics in TM?
A couple of weeks ago, I worked with a church support person, investigating WAN outages at one of our meetinghouses. He commented to me that the feature your are referring to, had been removed from TM. He didn't provide additional information as to why or if similar functionality would be returning. He did e-mail me a screen snip of a graph he had access to, which showed periods of time when the firewall had lost WAN connectivity.

I can't say as I'm terribly broken up about them missing. They weren't terribly informative. The latency was the only thing that would give me an idea if things were getting backed up. The classification of usage had so many "other applications" as to be, I won't say "useless", but it did little to help me understand what was happening.

I used to find it useful when the building was occupied, in the week during the day, by the missionaries, AN Other etc.

Re: Usage statistics in TM?
I thought I was the only one that felt this way. The pie charts were useless. I want to know total BW used vs time and periods of time when the firewall failed to check-in, like we used to see prior to the Meraki firewall rollout. The downloadable stats were a nice touch also when deeper investigating was needed.russellhltn wrote:I can't say as I'm terribly broken up about them missing. They weren't terribly informative.

"Get connected devices" is still there and will answer that question.Biggles wrote:I used to find it useful when the building was occupied, in the week during the day, by the missionaries, AN Other etc.

But not the approximate start time and for how long the building was occupied!russellhltn wrote:"Get connected devices" is still there and will answer that question.Biggles wrote:I used to find it useful when the building was occupied, in the week during the day, by the missionaries, AN Other etc.

True. I was thinking more along the lines of "what's happening now".Biggles wrote:But not the approximate start time and for how long the building was occupied!
