As was mentioned, a search for "church authenticator" in either app store returns the correct app at the top of the list.

For iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/church-authenticator/id1141071127
For Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.lds.authenticator

In either case, you MUST turn off 2-step verification before you dispose of, or factory reset, your phone. You'll be locked out of your church account on ALL devices if you don't.
So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

I think some third party Authenticators make it a little easier to change phones.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

I had this exact issue - got a new phone and forgot to change the 2FA before I wiped the old one. Per the recommendation above, I contacted the Global Service Center (https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/hel ... r?lang=eng). They removed the 2FA so I could sign in and reconfigure. Setting up multiple methods (including text) this time...
