How to request new internet service
Our area has had google fiber installed which means centurylink and Comcast have both improved their offerings to compete. Is there a specific process to go through to research pricing and update internet plans at meetinghouse. With Zoom and Lehi and Liahona and managed switches it just seems like we need the trifecta. Lol... I have a secret hope that I can double our bandwidth for the same price we pay today. I know business internet changes less often but I am involved in managing several business lines for work and the trend is real.

I think if you ask your stake clerk to check his monthly IROPs, he will tell you that your FM pays for your internet service. If the stake president and clerk can convince the FM that he can save money, it will happen.

I've found as an STS having a good relationship with your FM is invaluable. Our FM pretty much takes my recommendations on anything related to tech at this point because I have a proven track record with her of getting the job done and done right. Also, I'm super jealous that you have google fiber available. I have 2 buildings that are still on DSL, and one is so far from the central switch that we're lucky if we can get 2Mbps down and 500 Kbps up. That's made the current situation difficult.
