You can disable "Liahona" which disables it for the bulk of the users. That would leave "Lehi" still active (assuming you've filled in a password for it).

However, short of changing the password for Lehi, I don't see a way of disabling it for everyone which may be appropriate in some situations (such as a webcast).

You could always turn off those ports on the switch, but that's a bit clunky.

My Lehi has a Enabled/Disabled button, even when a password has been entered that has not yet expired. The SSID can be turned on and off just like the Liahona SSID. (The button did not show up until I entered a password, which activated the SSID.)

I've not turned it on yet, so I didn't see it. Good to know.

I think one use of Lehi would be to use for webcasting (when using devices that can't be plugged in - like cell phones) while keeping the traffic down by disabling Liahona.

The other would be for buildings with limited bandwidth.

That is what we might do. It saves running the long Ethernet cable from the pulpit down to the laptop a few rows back in the congregation.

I have the Wireless access under Devices, and see the Access Points down at the bottom of that window, but the old Disable Access menu button that used to be right above Access Points is missing. How do I disable WiFi?

Just got a email announcing "Lehi". It did answer some questions about the advantages of it. It appears it's only purpose is to provide some WiFi capability to users when shutting down "Liahona". Otherwise, there appears to be no benefit from using it.

The example given is to allow ward leaders to still have access when a different ward shuts down "Liahona" for a webcast. I'd imagine it would also be useful for buildings with limited bandwidth. I used to have a building where MLS couldn't do send/receive if members where in the building. In that situation, Liahona would probably be off for all of Sunday.
