Sharing highlighted articles

After reading a general conference talk online and highlighting certain passages I want to send it to a friend with the highlights. When I try to share the article, the highlights go away. How do I keep the highlights in the article when I send it?

Highlights are associated with your LDS Account and therefore cannot be shared. When I want to highlight a talk I print it to PDF and then use the PDF highlighting and noting capability and send that document file.
