Google Fiber
It seems awfully convient that, no matter how the project goes after this, Utah will have high high speed access. Surely this can help the work somehow?

Re: Google Fiber
Utah, on a per household average, has routinely been in the Top 5 states with access to high bandwidth. Mainly due to private fiber ventures like the one in Provo and I think there is one up near Davis Country somewhere...mworley88 wrote:It seems awfully convient that, no matter how the project goes after this, Utah will have high high speed access. What this does is expand Google's pressure on other infrastructure providers to open up the bandwidth they are hoarding right now. I get it, a company who lays down a capital expense wants to maximize profits. The good that comes from this is the spreading of the idea Google has behind Fiber.... everyone, everywhere should have high-speed access.. the higher the better.
